Assalaamu Alaikum,

iA we will be having the first FQh of the season this Saturday September 3rd at Fajr (6am). Alhumdulilah last season was a great success as we had many brothers come out and join us for this weekly program. Not only did we increase our ability to play hockey but we also strengthened our brotherhood and increase our knowledge of the Quran. This season aims to be no different. We've got a few improvements and changes that we will share with you this Saturday. So please try your best to come on out and share in this unique program. The point of FQh is to bring brothers to the mosque for fajr and also to increase the ties of brotherhood between us. Muslims today more than ever need to unite together and maintain their iman (faith) or else we run the risk of losing in.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah, the Exalted, will say: `Where are those who have mutual love for the sake of My Glory? Today I shall shelter them in My Shade when there will be no shade except Mine".

I urge all of you to come out to pray fajr and read Quran with your Muslim brothers. Even if you don't like hockey try to come out to strength the ties of brotherhood with one another so we can all be under Allah's shade on the Day of Resurrection. iA I hope to see you all there
